… is the author of Small Animals: Parenthood in the Age of Fear, an NPR Best Book of the Year, described by the National Book Review as “an impassioned, smart work of social criticism and a call for support and empathy.” She’s received fellowships from the Michener-Copernicus Center, the Posen Foundation, Yaddo, and Ragdale, and her writing has appeared in The New York Times, New York Magazine, Chicago Magazine, and others. She’s also spoken as a guest on CBS This Morning, PBS Newshour, 20/20, NPR’s All Things Considered, and Good Morning America. Her novel, The Houseguest, was published in 2016.

Meredith Boe

… is a Pushcart–nominated writer, editor, and poet. Her short prose collection, What City, was a winner of Paper Nautilus’s 2018 Debut Series Chapbook Contest, and her writing has appeared in Passengers Journal, Chicago Reader, Burningword, Midwestern Gothic, and elsewhere. Her critiques have appeared in Newfound, World Literature Today, and the Chicago Review of Books.

Jeffrey Wolf

… is a fiction writer from Chicago whose work has appeared in Conjunctions, Prairie SchoonerTupelo Quarterly, and elsewhere. He has received grants from DCASE Chicago and the Memorial Foundation for Jewish Culture, as well as residencies in Iceland, Sweden, and the Quad Cities. He is currently writing his debut story collection.
