John Amen

… is the author of five poetry collections, including Illusion of an Overwhelm, finalist for the 2018 Brockman-Campbell Award. He was the recipient of the 2021 Jack Grapes Poetry Prize, and his writing has appeared in Rattle, Prairie Schooner, American Literary Review, Tupelo Quarterly, and elsewhere. His music, literary, and film reviews appear in Colorado Review, No Depression, Beats Per Minute, and elsewhere. He founded and is managing editor of Pedestal Magazine. His new collection, Dark Souvenirs, will be released by New York Quarterly Books in 2024.

Tony Trigilio

… is the author and editor of sixteen books, including, most recently, Craft: A Memoir (Marsh Hawk Press, 2023); Proof Something Happened (Marsh Hawk, 2021), and Ghosts of the Upper Floor (BlazeVOX Books, 2019), the third installment in his multi-volume poem, The Complete “Dark Shadows” (of My Childhood). Interviews from his long-running poetry podcast, Radio Free Albion, are collected in Dispatches from the BodyPolitic (Essay Press, 2016). He is poetry editor of Allium, A Journal of Poetry & Prose and teaches at Columbia College Chicago.

Augustus Rose

… is a novelist and screenwriter. He is the author of The Readymade Thief (Penguin, 2017), and his screenplay Far From Cool was a finalist for the Academy Nicholl Fellowship. He was born in northern California and currently lives in Chicago with his wife, the novelist Nami Mun, and teaches at the University of Chicago.
